BALEO will host a Training and Leadership Summit aimed at strengthening the leadership capacity of Latino elected and appointed officials from the Bay Area. The event will include:
Networking Lunch: A chance for elected and appointed officials to connect and collaborate.
Targeted Workshops: Focused on enhancing core competencies for governance, leadership, and community engagement.

Learn how to build coalitions and engage stakeholders to drive policy change and create meaningful community impact.
Resilience and Resistance: Lessons from the Latino Community in Santa Clara Valley
This session explores the historical resilience of Latino communities in the Bay Area and offers practical lessons for today's leaders.
Awards and Honors Dinner Reception: Celebrating newly elected and appointed officials (2024-2025) and recognizing their contributions to the Latino community.
BALEO seeks to equip participants with tangible skills and tools while building a network of peers committed to improving their communities.
Awards and Honors Reception
As part of BALEO’s commitment to celebrating Latino leadership, the Awards and Honors Reception will recognize newly elected and appointed officials throughout the Bay Area. In addition, we will provide special recognition to leaders from Marin, Sonoma, Napa, and Solano counties whose leadership has positively impacted the Latino community. In addition, BALEO will recognize a non-profit organization that has contributed to the advancement of the Latino community in the North Bay.
Nominees must reside in and represent the communities of Marin, Sonoma, Napa, or Solano counties.
Exciting Opportunity: BALEO Training + La Onda by BottleRock 2025 Music Festival
Join us at our BALEO Leadership Summit followed by a multi-day celebration of Latino music and culture at La Onda by BottleRock 2025. Happening on May 31st and June 1st, this festival will feature some of the hottest names in Latino music, including Marco Antonio Solís, Carin León, Banda MS, and Grupo Firme.
Those joining us for extended networking opportunities on 5/31 will receive access to La Onda by BottleRock 2025 Music Festival on 5/31/25.
