Awards & Honors
As part of BALEO’s commitment to uplifting Latino leadership, the 2026 Conference and Awards Dinner will recognize individuals and organizations who have stepped forward to serve their communities across the Bay Area.
This year, BALEO will honor newly elected and appointed officials from the 2025–2026 cycle, as well as leaders who have demonstrated exceptional service and made a meaningful impact on the Latino community. In addition, select nonprofit organizations will be recognized for their contributions to advancing equity, opportunity, and well-being across the region.
To support a thoughtful and inclusive process, BALEO will open a call for nominations, inviting elected and appointed officials to put forward peers and community-based organizations for consideration. Nominees must live in and serve communities within the nine Bay Area counties.
More than a celebration, the Awards Dinner serves as a space to connect, reflect, and strengthen relationships among leaders working to advance positive change throughout the Bay Area.
